A New Audi Quattro Model?

A New Audi Quattro Model?

Audi have recently taken a concept Quattro model to the Frankfurt Motor Show and many in the automotive industry have been wondering whether the model would make it to production or not.

However, it seems to be that the new Audi Quattro model may well make it into production. But, on the other hand, it has not yet been confirmed whether the model will be based on the Sport model or the standard model, which both were shown at the latest Frankfurt Motor Show.

Audi have only recently confirmed their desire to join the electric car market as the parent brand Volkswagen launch their attack. The likes of BMW and Mercedes have both announced plans to join the electric car market following the success of the latest Nissan Leaf model.

The Nissan Leaf has been the pioneer for the electric car market as it seems to have connected with the motorists around the world and inspired them to drive an electrically powered vehicle. Audi have now launched the Audi A3 e-tron which they hope will capture the imagination of the electric car market within nations such as the UK.

The UK Government are pushing for the electric car market to grow even further and have issued a scheme which will see new electric car purchasers awarded £5,000 off the invoice price of the model. The electric car market has already doubled within the past 12 months in terms of sales figures and the Audi brand plans to jump in and claim some figures for themselves.

Audi plan on implementing an electric motor on to future models as a way of increasing the fuel economy of the vehicles. Volkswagen along with Audi will look to attack the market with models such as the Volkswagen E-Golf and the Volkswagen E-Up as well as the likes of the Audi A3 e-tron.
