Porsche to update range-Peugeot Partner updates-New Renault Captur engine

Porsche are all set to launch some brand new models this year and it is very exciting news for Macan and Boxster fans. The news has been broken which reveals that later into the course of this year we can expect to see a new Boxster Spyder model make its presence felt alongside a new Macan GTS. The new Boxster is set to be a convertible version of the car carrying a 3.8 litre, flat six engine that will give out 385bhp. A manual six speed gearbox will also be fitted to the car and the model will run on a real wheel drive platform also. Some work has also been done to the suspension system for the Spyder too which means it is more stiff than previous additions. For now though these are the only adjustments made to the car that we know about. We are still waiting for news on changes made to the bodywork of the vehicle to be announced.

The Macan has also been confirmed to be receiving GTS treatment which is expected to be loaded with adjustments made to the engine which would therefore result in more power. With the Macan being introduced with GTS treatment, the Macan is expected to fit nicely in between the S and Turbo models to bridge the gap. Exact performance rates are yet to be announced by the company but we expect to hear more on the car closer to the time of launch.

An upgraded engine for the Renault Captur

Renault have today announced that their Captur model is all set to receive a much more powerful diesel engine which will be included within the range. It is the same 1.5 litre, Dci diesel engine currently found in the engine range but power has been significantly upgraded. This means that now we can see the engine deliver 109 brake horse power which means an upgrade in total by 20bhp. Only three trims offer the engine though which are Dyanmique,Dynamique S and Signature trim levels. C02 emissions have also been significantly updated as we now see the car give out 98g/km. Renault have announced that thanks to the new engine, the top speed of the car has been adjusted from 106mph to 109mph. You wont have long to wait either as orders for the new engine range can be put on from the first of next month.

Updates introduced for the Peugeot Partner

Peugeot have announced a host of new updates that are all set to come along with their Partner van. Some of these changes consist of exterior and interior designs and new technology can also be found across the range too. One of the big changes however is adjustments to the engine which sees 108g/km C02 emissions from the 1.6 Blue Hdi thanks to the new fitting of stop-start technology. A new 1.6 petrol engine has also been introduced. Changes made outside of the car include the likes of brand new lights located both at the front and back of the vehicle. Both the bumper and grille have also received some updates in styling also. Safety technology has been a big focus point for the French firm this time around as we see hill start assistance find its place inside of the van aswell as tyre pressure monitoring system. However you can also be treated to active city braking if you spend your money on the optional extra. Travel further down the trim levels to the Professional range and you will now also be treated to a Tom Tom sat nav system and cruise control. A price has not been revealed for the updated Partner but we know that it will go on sale sometime around the end of April to May. As soon as this is confirmed we will bring you all of the latest.
