Mansory are a tuning company who are famous for their work on some of the worlds finest vehicles. They have been known to change the designs and power that comes along with some of the worlds best. There next project in line was revealed earlier today at day three of the Geneva Motor Show when the company revealed the range of work that they have been doing to the S63 AMG model from Mercedes Benz. Mansory took to the stage with the S63 AMG and have updated the power to come along with the V8 sized, 5.5 litre bi- turbocharged engine. Power is a very big deal for the new car with the standard model giving out 577bhp and after some retuning, 972bhp. This is quite a considerable climb in power. This means that a 186 miles per hour top speed limitation can now be reached by the updated model.
The model looks amazing with White and Blue leather seating and the floor which is also fully leather making this one of the most luxurious Mercedes models to be offered. The multi functioning steering wheel is also made from leather in Blue and White. The updated vehicle has been given the name of the Diamond Edition. The chances are that this is a model that is not going to go on sale anytime soon and was designed for the show alone.
The Hyundai i40 is updated
Hyundai have updated their i40 range and have given us our very first look at the new model in Geneva. Firstly two petrol and two diesels engines were confirmed for the new i40 but the technology features are what stand out the most in our opinion. A lane keeping assistance system,Bi xenon headlights,a seven inch infotainment screen and a traffic sign recognition system is also thrown in as part of the package which makes the driver aware of what the speed limit is on the road that they are travelling along. New driving modes are also offered with the updated model which means that the driver can adjust the suspension settings to make the driving experience even more smooth and adjust accordingly when travelling along a rough road. A new set of adaptive dampers are also located at the rear end of the i40. These changes bring the car to the same standard level as the i30 and i20 range which have both recently received similar upgrades.
Qoros coming to Europe
Qoros are a manufacturer who primarily sell their vehicles in China in their home country. They are wanting to expand their range in the future though and have discussed the news that they are to come to Europe soon. The brand have stated that they will begin to sell their vehicles in Europe over the course of the next two years. It is believed that the main priority of production for the Chinese brand would be focused on SUV and hatchback models. One of the first countries expected to start selling their vehicles is Germany but sooner or later they will more than likely become available here in the United Kingdom too.
