Volkswagen Up! Special trims revealed

The Volkswagen Up is a city car which has proven to be a popular choice for some customers around the world. It is a compact style city car which has proven to fly with the highest competitors on the road right now such as the Vauxhall Corsa and the Fiesta. It was first produced in 2011 and is based on the same platform as both the Seat Mii and the Citigo from Skoda. Now though the VW group are looking to increase the vehicles popularity by announcing not one but two brand trim levels for the car. The Club up and the Street Up. New colour designs, kit and styling structure are the focal points for the new trims.

What treats do the Volkswagen Street and Club up carry?

So we will begin with a taster of what you can expect to get from the Club Up!. So beginning from the outside and working to the inside,we see that VW now offer this trim with a Black colour option adding silver inserts all around the car. The mirrors of the car have been turned Silver and the windows at the back end of the car are now blacked out with this trim level. New materials inside of the vehicle and a leather steering wheel are now also a part of the package.

Making our way forward now to the Street Up. New striping designs have been added across all aspects of the bodywork of the car. Much like the Club trim has, we see the Mirrors receive the Silver paint design and again tinted windows at the back. The difference with this model though is that 16 inch alloy wheels and scuff plates across the bottom of the car are also thrown in for good measure. The Street rests the same as the club as far as the interior design is concerned, adopting new design materials and that leather wrapped steering wheel. A one litre petrol engine will also find its way into both the Club and Street models.

How much will both vehicles go on sale for?

Both the Club and Street varieties will be available to purchase from March of this year and as the entry level trim the Street model will go on sale from £11,995. The Club option however has been given a listing price of £12,370. Both vehicles will be available in either three or five door formats.
