Vauxhall Astra GSi in the works-Toyota Verso updates-BMW 7 Series leaked

Some of the latest incoming news concerning the car world today is coming to us from Japanese manufacturer Toyota who have announced that for the 2015 year they are updating their successful Verso range with a few new added parts and accessories in hopes of bringing in even more buyers for the vehicle. Toyota have confirmed that the changes to come along with the car include a brand new trim level which will include some new pieces of kit and will also be joined alongside by a new selection of engine which will now come Euro 6 compliant.

It has been confirmed that both the five and seven seat models will be affected by the new changes but in even more good news, the brand have confirmed that the price of the car will be remaining exactly the same as it is now. Engines do remain the same as previous but are now Euro 6 compliant in terms of mpg and C02 emissions. Regarding some more equipment to be thrown in with the car, keep an eye out for a DAB digital radio, dual zone climate control and a reversing cameras which is also contributed well by a set of parking sensors as standard. One of the bigger changes made to the Verso can be found in the back of the car though. A DVD player is now fitted in the back which is joined by two screens in total. The Verso has gone more high tech and upto date than ever before but can it now prove to be a key seller for the future of Toyota with these changes brought into play?.

A Vauxhall Astra Gsi in the works?

When we think about how successful some of the worlds standard hatchbacks have been on the car market and then cast our attention to their hot hatch counterparts, the achievements these cars have made have been phenomenal. For example, the Civic Type R, Renaultsport Clio and the Ford ST range. That is why it is believed that Vauxhall could very well be developing a new Gsi version of the Astra to go head to head with the likes of some of these sporty hatchbacks. A vehicle has been spied testing on the road under disguise. Around 300 brake horse power would also be expected to be produced by the car. Nothing is set in stone as of yet for the vehicle but we do know that the brand new range of standard Astra vehicle will be revealed by Vauxhall/Opel in one months time. We wouldn't expect to see the new Gsi version until further down the line.

The images have revealed studio shots of the new car under bright lights which is now showing the design approach that the brand have taken with the car. The pictures reveal a Black paint work with chrome fittings around the bottom of the doors and around the windows. Other information is also known about the car which reveals that an eight speed transmission and a twin turbo powered engine will also come along as a part of the package. More information is not known for the moment but we expect to hear more closer to the cars launch which takes place next year.
