It is official, images have been revealed of what appears to be the brand new Street Triple from successful motorcycle manufacturer Triumph. The bike was recently seen testing undisguised on the streets of Spain sporting a Black finish and golden front forks. There is no word as of yet as to when we can expect to see this new addition make its way into Triumph showrooms but considering the bike looking pretty much complete there is some strong potential for its launch this year. There have been some changes made to the bike compared to that of the current model which include a separated seat meaning it is no longer the one seat anymore as both rider and pillion seats are now split. Brembo brakes find a place into the new addition and the radiator at the side is also sporting a different design style. We do know that a 1050cc engine will be equipped with the new Speed Triple but for the moment, Triumph are keeping their mouths closed as to performance rates and other trick bits. We will be paying close attention to the brand on this story this year and will have any updates for you as soon as we have them.
This week Honda have officially revealed a new colour options which will be coming along with some of their 2015 range of motorcycle. A number of bikes have been announced by the brand including the CBR 500R,the SH Mode 125 and the CBR 125R. Starting from the top, the CBR 500R will now receive a 'Millennium Red' colour design but customers can also choose between 'Graphite Black', 'Metallic Silver' or a tricolour setup. The MSX125 monkey bike will be available in 'Marigold Yellow'. Green and Red colour options now come along with the SH Mode 125 Scooter and both the NSC50R and the CBR 125R are now both offered in the classic Repsol racing team colours.
For years BMW Motorrad have been at the top of their prime by offering some of the most popular touring motorcycles all around the world. It has recently come to our attention though that Triumph may be set to bring the fight to them. This week the British firm revealed a new special edition version of their current Tiger Explorer XC. There will be only limited numbers of the bike being produced but it will become available from April of this year. Available in either Black or Orange colour options, the new special edition models features some highlights such as headlight covers and a larger front screen. Dual purpose tyres have now also been thrown into the mix for those long journeys and a sat nav system is now also coming along with the Tiger Explorer XC completely standard. The fun doesn't stop there though as the Tiger is also fitted with traction control, cruise control and ABS as standard also. Triumph have confirmed that the price of the new special edition model will come in at £13,999 and only fifty units of the bike have been made.
