The Yamaha XJR 1300 the perfect bike for long journeys ?

In a look today at some previously released motorbikes on the market, we look at the XJR 1300 model from Japanese company Yamaha. The Yamaha brand are extremely well known for their contributions of the R1 and the R6 onto the global motorbike market. Both of which models have proven to be some of the finest two wheeled machines on offer around the world today. Today we take a look into a different variant of motorbike though. The XJR 1300 in our eyes could very well be the perfect motorbike for those long distance journeys both in terms of comfort and the general all round power of the bike. When you look at perfect bikes,Honda and Suzuki come to mind as two of the finest designers around the world. Can this XJR 1300 prove to be something that contends with these other firms though and should you choose to purchase this bike yourself ?.

The key selling points of the Yamaha XJR 1300

So what has made the cut when it comes down to the production time on this motorbike and could it prove to go toe to toe with some similar machines from the likes of Triumph ?. Well firstly if we take a look as to what makes the bike tick and how well this model can actually perform, we see the inclusion of a 1,251cc engine that comes complete with a pre fitted liquid cooling system. An electronic fuel injection system also comes along for the ride. An electronic starter system and constant mesh, five speed transmission system sees a warm welcome to this bike too. A telescopic suspension system,Dual shock rear suspension and hydraulic disc brakes make the cut with the XJR 1300 too. A good 21 litre fuel tank capacity just adds as a neat bonus to this bike.

In regards to how this bike looks, it is only made available in two separate paint schemes, the first being in the form of all Grey and the second colour scheme comes in all Black.
