The updated Ferrari F12M on the way next year

Italian sports car makers Ferrari have been very popular amongst car news sources this week because Sergio Marchionne has stated that the Dino super car could be all set to return to our roads sometime in the future. Along with the hype of this announcement, fans are also excited as the brand are going to launch an updated version of their F12M model onto the road from next year which is expected to carry some small changes to the bodywork of the car amongst many more changes brought into play. Ferrari have not announced the new updates directly but images have appeared via the internet which show the new model undergoing tests on public roads with some small camouflage hiding the work that has been done to the exterior design of the car. The M badges on past Ferrari models suggest some strong power and performance which Ferrari are of course well known for. So can we expect upgrades to the engine of the car aswell?.

What can you expect to get from the updated F12M?

Nothing is set in stone as far as engine upgrades are concerned so we cannot comment right now on the kind of power that the vehicle will give out. It is believed though that some fine tuning would be made to the F12M's engine which would help to increase the power given out and the overall torque developed by the car. The standard F12M however gives out a whopping 730 brake horse power so we would not expect it to climb too much. The same V12, 6.3 litre engine is expected to be included though.

Ferrari have done a little work on the chassis of the car with some fine tuning input which make the car more comfortable to drive and more agile. Technology wise, information is running a little short but many are guessing that Apples 'CarPlay' smartphone linking technology may also be included with the updated model which would see it join alongside cars such as the FF and the California.

Changes coming outside of the F12M

The car was spotted with very minimal disguise at the back leading us to believe that exterior design is not changing much. The pictures reveal that the wheel arches could be made slightly wider and a new change in design for the boot lid could also be on the agenda. Apart from these changes, the F12M in terms of looks, has not changed too much. The car is expected to make its way to Ferrari showrooms from next year with a price yet to be announced.
