The Skoda Superb-Bentley Flying Spur and Continental changes-Hyundai Tuscon

Tonight from the Czech Republic, Skoda will reveal their brand new Superb addition in full. We have previously seen sketched images revealed by the company behind the car aswell as an official image of the new dashboard layout of the vehicle. An image of the car in full was however leaked online earlier today by the company by mistake and quickly taken back offline. The company had made a mistake by revealing the photograph of the car too early. The image revealed shown the vehicle in a much larger appearance than previous Superb models and a complete overhaul for the body design is also on the cards. There were considerable changes made compared to the sketched images which show a sloping boot and back windscreen design, it appears that this idea has now been scrapped from the Superb. It is expected that this will be the most extravagant addition into the Superb line up to date.

A host of new engine choices and the potential for a hybrid model is also a possibility. We already know of turbocharged petrol engines carrying capacities of 1.4,1.8 and 2.0 litres. Both 1.6 and two litre diesel options will also be up for grabs. We are looking forward to the official reveal of the new model later tonight and will have all of the latest up to date information for you as and when it is revealed.

Hyundai to bring back the Tuscon name

Hyundai will be one of the companies on display at next months Geneva motoring event when they reveal their replacement for the ix35. For the replacement the Korean firm have brought back the Tuscon name after it was first launched ten years ago. The new model is to be the companies next addition into their SUV range and it is expected to officially go on sale from sometime in 2016. Hyundai are looking for some tremendous success with this brand new addition and today the company have come out and revealed some new information regarding the specifications of the new model before its grand debut. The firm have today announced two petrol engine choices and a range of three diesels for the car. Both petrols carry 1.6 litres and deliver power from 133bhp or a turbocharger can be fitted bringing the overall power for the petrol setup to 173bhp. Your diesel options begin at a 1.7 litre unit packing 113bhp and the 2.0 litre setup delivers one of two power outputs coming in either 133 or 180bhp. There are to be some big changes made to this ix35 replacement compared to that of the current model with a lot more interior space set to be one of the big fixtures.

Images have been revealed of the interior cabin showing a three spoke, multi functioning steering wheel with chrome trimmings also fitted throughout the cabin. Thrown in are leather materials,a seven inch sat nav system and electric windows. The sheer amount of SUV vehicles on the road right now will offer the Tuscon some top class competition. So with the new model expected to arrive next year, we will be looking more towards the new Kadjar addition from Renault and of course the Nissan Qashqai as far as its biggest rivals are concerned.

Interior, exterior and power changes for the Flying Spur and Continental GT

Think of two of the biggest and most popular choices of Bentley luxury vehicles and somewhere in that list you will see the additions of the Continental GT and the Flying Spur. Well if you think these two particular vehicles could not get any more exciting, then you were wrong. The luxury vehicle designer has come out today and revealed a host of new upgrades to be brought forward to the interior, exterior and power areas of both vehicles. Considering Bentley models are known for their sheer amount of power, that is where we shall begin. In the Continental GT we see that updates have been made to the W12 engine which means that now a 582 brake horse power deliverance is available compared to that of the 567bhp that the standard engine gives out. Rather than 700NM, we now see that a 720NM torque deliverance is also produced. Overall efficiency has also been improved for the W12 engine but other engine fittings have not received any updates.

Some of the exterior changes made to the Continental include highlights like new air vents, added body sculpturing,an all new back bumper and new body colour designs too aswell as new wheels. LED Lighting inside of the
Continental and Flying Spur aswell as new leather seat designs and chrome trimming inside of the cars are some of the most eye catching features that have been added. As an optional extra across both vehicles too, WIFI hot spot areas are also thrown into the mix. Bentley Motors have come out and confirmed that we will see both of these updated models which carry a lot of the same features from the Geneva Motor Show which takes place in March.
