The most powerful TT model in the new Audi range has arrived

In some exciting news today for you Audi fans out there, the launch of the most powerful TT model has occurred and the vehicle is available on the road right now. The vehicle is named the TT Coupe and not only performs very efficiently, it also packs a lot of power. The TT since the very first version of the car was released into the world back in 1998 has proven to be one of the most successful vehicles that the Audi firm has ever had on offer. The vehicle now in it's third life cycle sees the brand new TT Coupe come as the quickest third generation model to date with the first version of the car being launched earlier on this year. In regards to the look of the Coupe it shares the same design as that of the Volkswagen Golf R and also has similarities when it comes to the power train used also. As for as space is concerned not a lot of changes to the interior have been made compared to that of the previous addition to the range although, the wheelbase of the TT Coupe has been slightly increased by 37mm.

The power and performance rates of the Audi TT Coupe

So with the TT Coupe being the most powerful TT model in the line up to date, we see that all of the power directed from the Coupe comes from the fitting of a two litre, four cylinder, turbo charged engine which delivers on an overall power deliverance of 306 brake horse power. Thanks to this engine we see that the TT Coupe is able to progress from a standing start to speeds in the 62 miles per hour area in a very quick time of only 4.6 seconds which then continues on to reach an overall top speed limit limited to 155 miles per hour. A six speed, dual clutch transmission system also comes along with the TT Coupe. This vehicle is a four wheel drive variant and the car also welcomes in the additions of magnetic controlled dampers too.

In regards to anything from other manufactures that could match up to the Audi TT Coupe we see the likes of the M235i from German manufacturer BMW and the Porsche Cayman providing some much heated sources of competition.

How does the purchase price of the Audi TT Coupe look ?
