The Mitsubishi L200 in Geneva-Fiat Doblo 2015-Mercedes G500

Mitsubishi have today announced that live from the Geneva Motor Show in March, they will officially reveal their brand new L200 model to the world. If you have already seen the Triton model from the same company when it was revealed last year, then you know exactly what to expect from the new L200 as it is the same vehicle. Some of the very same features are also carried over which means that like the Triton, you can expect to find a 2.4 litre, turbocharged diesel engine underneath the bonnet. However there are two different power outputs with this engine to choose from with the entry level unit developing 152bhp and the higher rated 178bhp engine too. As standard, a six speed manual gearbox is also offered with the fifth generation for the L200.

Mitsubishi are now however offering more standard pieces of kit and optional extras than they have previously done with the L200. Some of the best features to keep an eye out for with the new model include cruise control, stop-start technology and added doors for the Club Cab variant of the car. It has been confirmed that the new model will go on sale from the Summer season of this year with an exact date still yet to be confirmed. A price tag has not yet been revealed either but we would expect an announcement on this with the cars reveal in Geneva.

The Mercedes G500 images are revealed

Mercedes Benz have revealed new images of their forth coming G500 4x4 model which for the moment is just being labeled as a car for show purposes. The current status of the car is that it will go on display to the world from the Geneva Motor Show but considering that the vehicle has been spotted in 2014 testing on multiple occasions, there is strong belief that the car will make the production line for sure. The 4x4 is set to be perfect for off road conditions but also looks to be a smooth runner on the road also. A V8 petrol engine carrying a capacity of 5.5 litres has been confirmed for the 4x4 and around 416 brake horse power is expected to be the overall result power wise. Keep your eye on the big event in Geneva for more information on the G500.
