BMW's motorcycle division has lifted the lid on the price tags for the UK to come along with their new S1000 XR and F800R models going on sale later this year. The all new S1000XR will begin with a price of £12,400 and the F800R will cost you £7,595 from the time of its launch next month. The F800R will be the first of these models to go on sale due to the S1000XR not going on sale until around the Summer time of this year. Also to come along with the bikes will be more sports performance versions which BMW have also revealed costs of. The sports F800 price does not boost too much from the standard model as a figure of £7,855 has been confirmed. Special edition Ducati Scrambler's

Ducati are putting on a show today for motorcycle fans by displaying three very special editions of their new Scrambler range. A Motorcycle show has officially gotten underway today from Verona Italy and all three of the special edition bikes will be revealed on its grand stage today. It is expected that all three of these variants will make it on sale further down the line with them being official Ducati models. All three take a different approach to styling with one in a Yellow Motocross design, the second is based on a classic scrambler look boasting golden wheels and a silver steel colour design. The third and final Scrambler though features that classic racing motorcycle look like we have seen in the classics racing at the Isle of Man TT. A modern looking stainless steel exhaust pipe and a black paint job finish the bike off nicely. No specifics are known about engines and performance rates for the moment but Ducati are expected to reveal these and so much more in Verona today.

Honda begin the design of a three wheeler motorbike

Recent images shown on the Japanese patent website has revealed that Honda are in the midst of working on an all new three wheeled motorcycle. Would it be classed as a trike though?. We have seen many brands make a name for themselves with three wheelers with the likes of the Piaggio scooter from Peugeot boasting two smaller wheels at the front and a larger wheel at the back. One of the biggest selling three wheelers around the world is the Can am Spyder. So could Honda be looking to contend more with some of these companies?. Little is known so far about the new model apart from sketches which have been revealed showing how the motorcycle would technically look. It is thought however that the bike would run on the NC750S platform which is used on a large range of Honda's motorcycles.
