The latest in Motorcycle news for 20-01-2015

Today here at Gap Insurance 123 we are taking a look into some of the latest and biggest motorcycle news stories to occur. The first topic on our agenda for today is the recalling of over three hundred Aprilia motorcycles. The Italian company have announced that in total they are recalling 337 motorbikes. Only two models are affected by this recall and these include the Shiver 750 and the Caponard 1200. Both models made from 2014 and 2015 are affected and have been recalled due to a faulty gear shift which could lead to the rear wheel locking up whilst on the move. The screw that holds the shaft together may not have been tightened correctly and could come lose. The company have said that if you are the owner of one of these models then they will contact you and replace the screw and tighten it free of charge.
