The Kawasaki Versys 1000

Kawasaki have put their brand new Versys 1000 model on sale here in the United Kingdom and across other various countries on a global scale. The Versys range has proven to be a good seller for the firm over the years with their touring division seeing improvements in sales thanks to the range. When we think of touring motorcycles, companies such as BMW Motorrad often come to mind as they are well known for this particular range of motorcycle. The likes of the ZZR 1400CC from Kawasaki is another model that has proven to be exciting for touring. So what is it that the new Versys 1000 has to offer you that a lot of potential rivals on the market don't?.

What helps the Kawasaki Versys stand out?

There are four main highlights that stand out in with the new Versys model that help it make an impact in our opinion and we are not to take a look into them. The seats for both the rider and the passenger have been vastly improved upon compared to that of some of the bikes past additions. This means that the 1000 model helps to add to a much more comfortable riding experience than ever before. The styling and design structure of the bike at the front end has also seen some adjustments compared to its predecessors. More angular headlights have also been thrown into the mix this time.

Newer body creases and a higher windscreen which is adjustable also help give the rider protection when it comes to avoiding high pressures of wind and also makes for a much more agile riding experience. ABS now comes with the Versys as standard which can be found located on the larger disc brakes that have been fitted to this addition to the range and the rear shock suspension system has been made tighter therefore bringing a more steady bike on those bad road surfaces. The fuel tank on the bike has also been increased which means that it now carries twenty one litres. A 1,043cc liquid cooled engine and a direct fuel injection system can also be found attached to the bike as standard.

There are a total of three paint designs made available with the bike which include Orange and Metallic Black, full Black and Black and White. The Triumph Tiger 800 and Honda NC700X can be seen as two of the biggest road blocks in the way of the new Versys but can these new specifics and improvements help to give the new Versys that added advantage?.

How much have Kawasaki put the new Versys 1000 on sale for?

The new Versys can be rode away from your local Kawasaki dealers right now and given the amount of new updates that have been brought into play with the new bike and features, we think that the cost of £9,749 which has been given to the bike is very reasonable.
