Some brand new information has been revealed today regarding the brand new Corvette Z06 model from American manufacturer Chevrolet and we are pleased to report on it right here. This model has been confirmed to be the most powerful production vehicle right now and it will see a grand launch next year. The Chevrolet brand are well known for models such as the Camaro and the Orlando but this brand new Corvette model for 2015 will certainly blow them out of the water as far as engine and performance rates are concerned. As to whether or not the car will prove to be a good seller...only time will tell. Powerful machines at this standard are normally left to the likes of,Porsche and Mercedes amongst other well known names but rates will the Z06 actually put out ?.
So by now you must be wondering what exactly is this engine and vehicle capable of ?. Well it has been officially confirmed that a 6.2 litre,V8 engine will be used in this particular model with a top notch output of 650 brake horse power and 881NM of Torque too. The engine also comes supercharged to help this Z06 make the sprint from 0 to 62 miles per hour in a strong showing of less than the original 4.2 seconds on the first model with an exact time set to be revealed. Overall top speeds will all be set to hit out at 200 miles per hour.
Some other key selling points and additional equipment that come along with this vehicle as if the engine was not enough come in the form of,Rotocast aliminium cylinder heads, stainless steel exhaust manifolds and you can also expect to receive aluminium pistons too.
Unfortunately in some sad news, we do not currently know of a price tag that will surround the Z06 but we do expect to hear more on this matter over the course of the next few months. In terms of when you can expect to see this vehicle on the roads, although Chevrolet officially withdrew from European markets a number of months ago, it has been confirmed that the Chevrolet Corvette will continue to go on sale here in the United Kingdom and this model will go on sale later on this year in the form of a left hand drive.
