Some exciting news today if you're interested in convertible vehicles. The German brand BMW have just launched their brand new contribution to the car industry and it comes in the form of the 435i M Sport. This all new convertible machine has officially gone on sale here in the UK and across other various countries world wide too. For such a sporty vehicle with the power that it packs, it has come as a surprise to us that this model has been criticised a little by testers who say it doesn't give that great feeling that you would expect. With this little snag in mind could it put you off buying one of these convertibles or could it just be a matter of preference ?.
Well regarding the engine used for this new addition to the BMW line up, we see that the company have included a 3.0 litre, turbo charged engine. Infact it is the very same engine used in the 335i model. There is no doubt that it is a powerful engine as is demonstrated by the 5.5 second sprint from a standstill to 62 miles per hour. All round we see that the car is limited to top speeds of 155 miles per hour. Thanks to the eight speed automatic transmission system included, we see the 435i convertible give out 302 units of brake horse power.
Some of the main key features that could prove to grab your attention with this particular model include an all new M Sport body kit,a much more upgraded suspension system, sports seating, new badges and a set of 18 inch alloy wheels although 19 inch alloys come as an optional extra too.
Handling wise and steering is somewhat questionable as it has been stated that there is very little feeling through the steering and the car can get quite bumpy on those tough road surfaces especially with the top down. So could these minor faults prove to give the leverage to other top car firms such as Audi and the German Mercedes brand or do the goods of the vehicle outweigh the bad ?.
Firstly before reaching the price tag for the car, we are pleased to let you know of the good news that this car has now officially gone on sale and can be bought via your nearest BMW dealers and showrooms. Now as for much you can expect to pay out for this model, expect to pay a total cost of £46,890.
