Suzuki to launch a new GSXR 1000 model in 2015

Suzuki are a company who are well know for their GSXR range and it has been confirmed for 2015 that the manufacturer are all set to introduce a brand new GSXR 1000 model onto our roads. 2015 will be a big year for the Suzuki corporation as they are returning back to the Moto GP racing championship and this brand new model addition will incorporate a lot of the technology used in the Moto GP model. The GSXR 1000 has been the equivalent to Honda's CBR Fireblade range and that of the Ninja line up from Kawasaki. With the news announced regarding the arrival of the new H2 Ninja next year, have Suzuki pulled out all of the stops in order to maintain a strong source of competition and can it contend with these models next year?.

The new range of features announced for the GSXR 1000 2015

One of the first points we would like to bring to you attention here is the new paint scheme that has been included with the model which shows a Blue design with the Suzuki name painted across the fairing of the tank. Green highlights have also been included with this design scheme. Both Red/Black and Grey and Black are your other two alternative paint jobs for the bike. The structure of the bike itself shares the similar design as its predecessors on the market but there are some new features to be found in next years addition to the range. A 999cc, four stroke liquid cooled engine has been confirmed for the bike along side the standard fuel injection system and six speed, constant mesh transmission. A set of Brembo Monoblock brake callipers are also included. Showa brake pistons, a fully adjustable suspension system and a set of three way adjustable foot pegs are also included as some of the highlighted features of the bike.

When will the new GSXR 1000 arrive?

It has been confirmed by the Japanese motorcycle brand that this new addition to the GSXR range will make its presence felt on our roads from the spring time of next year with an exact date yet to be confirmed. A price tag also remains unknown at this moment but we don't expect it to travel too far away from the price of a current GSXR 1000 which comes in at £10,999.
