The Bandit is one of the biggest selling Suzuki motorcycles of all time and these past few weeks have been an exciting time for the motorcycle industry and Suzuki to be more precise. The mass manufacturer has officially confirmed the return of the big selling Bandit model and it will officially go on sale on our roads here in the UK from next year. Alongside revealing the machine from the Milan motorcycle show, the brand also introduced the brand new range of features that will come along with the bike and some new looks that will also come along with this two wheeled machine. In the past additions to Kawasaki's Ninja range and the Yamaha FZ1 have provided a healthy source of competition for the Bandit, but does the bike maintain these great standard levels that can see it be a big time player on the market once more for 2015?.
The simple answer to that question is yes. The Bandit has always provided motorcyclists with an excellent and adrenaline fuelled riding experience and we think that this brand new addition for next year will certainly be no different. New features have been confirmed for the bike along side paint schemes and design features. So we begin with a look at the visuals of the bike. We see that the new Bandit 150S will be made available in a choice of three paint schemes. White,Black and Red are your options this time around. It shares the same long exhaust and body that its predecessor did. In terms of looks, the bike is very similar to its older brothers but the specifications of this model is where we think its true potential rests.
A 1255cc liquid cooled engine has been confirmed by the Suzuki brand to find a place in next years model. A direct fuel injection system is also included with the model. A single rear shock suspension system has also been thrown into the mix which is also fully adjustable to suit your riding style. A new LCD HUD system has also been included with the bike much like it has on the new GSX 1000 model. This reads out the speedometer, dual trip meters, the clock and a fuel gage. Suzuki have also confirmed that the seat on the bike can also be adjusted by 20mm. The great news here though is that the brands ABS system now comes along with the Bandit completely standard.
A range of brand new motorbikes have been revealed from the Milan motorcycle show with Kawasaki making the headlines with the revealing of their H2 Ninja model. BMW have also made an impact on the sports bike world with their new S1000RR. So will the Bandit rekindle an old flame and prove to be a dominant player once more in 2015?.
