Range Rover Evoque teased-Volvo XC90 Polestar-an off road Citroen Berlingo

Land Rover have given out a small teaser of what is to come with the brand new Range Rover Evoque model which will officially go on display for the first time from next months Geneva Motor Show. The brand have released an image which shows the new headlight design used with the car with a Black background. Although the image keeps a lot of things secret, we can tell that the front end body design shares that of the current Evoque. The image revealed the new lights which are clearly seen to be LED. The model will also have revisions made to the interior cabin but the changes used are uncertain at this moment in time. The engine range has however been confirmed to be carrying a two litre diesel engine like the one used in the XE from partners Jaguar which is a part of the companies ingenium range. Although not confirmed for the moment, Land Rover may also look to include a turbocharged petrol unit further on into the cars lifecycle.

Power upgrades forthcoming for the Volvo XC90

We all know of the Polestar Volvo models which sees added power and unique updates brought forward to some of the companies most popular vehicles. The division have now announced that the Swedish firms new XC90 model will also receive some Polestar treatment. Both the D5 diesel and T6 petrol engines will be thrown in with the car. Information is yet to be revealed as to what the ending result for power will be with the new D5 but as far as the T6 petrol engine goes, rates above 316bhp of the standard engine are to be announced. At the moment some of the more popular Polestar models are loaded with the latest and greatest of equipment. The same is to be expected for the XC90 which would mean the fittings of Brembo brakes and Ohlins dampers. There is no confirmation on a price tag to come along with the Polestar version of the XC90 or when it will go on sale however, we would expect to see the car make its presence felt on the road from some point into the course of next year.

Citroen design a new special edition Berlingo

The vehicle is only in concept phase for the time being but will go on full display from the Geneva Motor Show this year. The car in question you ask?. Well its more of an MPV and that is of course the famous Berlingo from Citroen. The brand have designed a new off roading version of the MPV but confirmation of the production of the car has not been confirmed as of yet. Citroen did reveal a new image of what the car looks like and we see that some new additions have been thrown in to the bodywork design of the Berlingo. Pink roof rails and new skid plates are some of the more obvious changes however, demonstrating more new features designed for the off road, the company have included a set of snow chains all around the tyres. No changes are made to the engine range for the MPV which has been given the concept name of the Vibe.
