The Prescott Bike Festival 2014
The 2014 Prescott Bike Festival will be taking place on the 6th of April and features a great amount of action on the Prescott hillclimb, as well as a whole host of activities for the family.
All of the proceeds made on the day will be going to the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes and Severn Freewheelers. This is the fourth annual event and it is looking to be larger than it ever has been before. There have been even more clubs and bike manufacturers confirmed, along with a large display of modern and historic race bikes in the paddock, there will also be demo areas, stunt shows, passenger rides, live music, trade stalls, good food and a whole host of entertainment on and off the race track that will definitely keep the family entertained.
There will be special guest appearances including MotoGP commentator Steve Parrish, former three times British Superbike Champion and Bloodbike ambassador John Reynolds, motorcycle adventurer Nick Sanders and racer Michael Rutter.
Along with a lot of new features for this years festival there is also live entertainment and ample displays from Harley Davidson, Norton and Honda owners clubs. Gordon Downie, who has organised the festival has said that the Prescott Bike Festival goes from strength to strength every year. For this year there is a lot more of everything as well as all of the usual attractions and the very unique hill riding opportunity. He explained that as always all of the major motorbike manufacturers will be at the festival so fans have the opportunity to see all of the major models. There will also be a variety of trade stands along with great entertainment and famous racers aswell.
Advance tickets for the festival cost £12 and £15 on the day, under 16's who are attending with a paying adult will be able to get in for free. All tickets can be purchased online at the Prescott bike festival website. Tickets to run the hill are £35 and these must be purchased in advance.
