Mercedes Benz have decided to take a bold step with the production of their future vehicles by announcing and revealing a brand new, mid size pickup truck that they have been developing. The brand have stated that more and more buyers are opting into these particular models so they wanted to make history by being the first German manufacturer to offer such a model. Mercedes have revealed a new image of the vehicle which shows some traditional styling design from their suv range and the company have also said that this new model will run along side their existing commercial van range including the likes of the Vito. In terms of the engines that will be offered for the new model, all units will come in the form of petrols and will be offered in both four and six cylinder units. Unfortunately no hybrid model is going to be offered though. The brand new pick up truck has been confirmed for a launch in two years time.
The news was broken yesterday that Kia are all set with their new Optima model which they officially revealed with a brand new photograph posted online. The car was shown in a bright Red paint design carrying some new features such as chrome surrounded air intakes at the front end of the vehicle and the firms 'Tiger Nose' front grille. Today however we can do one better as the new model has been spotted out on public roads testing. The car was snapped on the road in Korea but this time carrying a silver paint job. Swept back headlights at the rear end of the car were a feature spotted. For now the majority of the specifications are being kept quiet for the new Optima as the brand new model will go on display from the New York Motor Show next week which is where we also expect to hear more on the specifications, prices and launch time for later this year.
BMW have treated us all to brand new images of their facelifted M135i model. The car range has been very successful for the German manufacturer but there was a complaint about the overall styling design of the car. BMW have however seen to this by bringing in some brand new changes that have been added in hopes of pleasing their customers. The new images show the car in a metallic Orange finish carrying much thinner headlights compared to previous additions to the range. This particular model will run on a rear wheel drive platform and it has also been confirmed to be carrying a turbocharged straight six engine that will be giving out 322 brake horse power. The brands double kidney grille surrounded by chrome also finds a place on the new model as does the chrome surrounded front air intakes at either end of the front of the car. The M135i is looking better than ever and hopefully it will bring in a lot more sales for the firm.
