Mercedes AMG GT images-Audi R8 news-Audi offering VR headsets

Mercedes Benz have revealed more pictures of their forthcoming AMG GT model to the world showing exactly how the production version of the car looks. The new snapshots show the car from a sketched design phase, through its time in concept design and on the road as to how it looks now. It gives us a very good idea of to how the car has evolved and how similar the production version is compared to the sketched images. We also have our first image of inside the car boasting its Red and Black interior with some tan colour scheme thrown in for good measure.

The model itself features a long sloping bonnet, multi spoke alloy wheels and a metallic Silver colour job. It is now known that there will also be a bright Yellow colour option available. Boasting aluminium pedals, a multi functioning steering wheel and a new touch screen system rising from the dashboard and centre console also features as some as the interiors highlights. The brand new AMG GT goes on sale this year and will look to bring the fight to the likes of Porsche and Nissan with the 370Z Nismo. It is to be perhaps one of the brands most exciting models of the year and we cannot wait to see just what the sports car can do when it arrives on the road.

Could a new Audi R8 arrive in Geneva?

Geneva is the location for one of the years biggest annual motoring events. The event kicks off this coming March and for years it has given car fans from all around the world their first taste of some brand new models appearing on the road. This year is set to be no different and one of the big rumours going around right now is that Audi could potentially reveal their next generation of R8 from this years event. Audi for the moment are keeping one of their biggest vehicles their biggest secret for the time being and the new electric version will also come along with it. Dr Ulrich Hackenburg has commented on the new R8 already by stating that the electric version will arrive along with it in Geneva this March.

Audi set to offer VR headsets across their dealerships

In a move that would follow that of Land Rover, in the future Audi have revealed that they are to offer virtual reality headsets across a vast majority of their car showrooms. This news comes after Land Rover have done the same thing with every dealership that they have in the United Kingdom. The new headsets will allow customers to check through their possible combinations and optional extras throughout the entire Audi car models on offer. There is no time frame announced as for when the company will introduce these new headsets to their dealerships but we would expect it to be very soon.
