Next week the Paris motor show will officially begin and it is one of the anticipated shows in the events prestigious history. The Paris motor show was the very first automotive show ever held and was first done in 1898. There have been many vehicles go on display at the show over the years which are some of today's biggest selling vehicles on the market. This year promises to deliver on some new models and some brand new variants of current generation cars that could very well be the future of the automotive industry. Just one of the car companies represented this year is the big German manufacturer Mercedes and we are please to deliver on the exciting news today that a brand new vehicle has been leaked online revealing images of the car and is set to arrive at the Paris motor show next week. The car comes to you in the shape and form of the brand new AMG GT Edition 1.

We can see some features from the images that were leaked of the car which show some of the brand new features that will make their presence felt this time around and the car will also benefit from some brand new changes made to the engine line up also. The Mercedes brand have a great history when it comes to delivering on both power and a comfortable driving experience and we can expect nothing less from the AMG GT Edition 1. Engine wise we see the inclusion of a 4.0 litre, V8 direct injection turbo petrol engine. A total of 503 brake horse power is also set to be delivered upon thanks to this engine unit.
This brand new addition from the team at Mercedes could also prove to be great when it comes to an agile driving performance and a lightweight driving experience as the exterior materials used on the car have been revealed in the leaked images. Carbon fibre front air ducts, ten spoke alloy wheels and a fixed rear wing are just some of the features of the car that we believe could increase the overall performance of the car. AMG models from Mercedes have brought the fight to some of the worlds biggest car developers over the years from Audi to the Lexus brand including many more, can they do this again though with the GT Edition 1?. It is unconfirmed at this moment in time but it is expected that the AMG GT Edition 1 will go on sale from around £120,000 with information yet to be revealed on when the car will make its first appearance on our roads.
