Statistics have today came in revealing the new car registrations for the month of January alone and the figures show that the new car sales are of to an amazing start. New vehicle sales for 2014 have been pouring in recently recording history making sales for a range of manufacturers all around the world and if the same continues for the rest of the duration of this year then we could see even more records set. It has been today revealed that last month saw 164,000 new car registrations in the United Kingdom alone with the Ford Fiesta unsurprisingly topping the charts for the sales of 8,674 units over the four week period. The Corsa and the Focus were also ranked amongst the top three positions.
Jeep launch a special edition Wrangler in the United Kingdom
Looking for a new special edition vehicle?. Jeep could then have the perfect match for you. They have just launched a new special version of their Wrangler model named the X here onto the streets of the United Kingdom. The car was first revealed from the Paris Motor Show back in October of last year and offered new engines and both interior and exterior design finishes. The new model carries choices for the customer as far as the engines are concerned. A turbo diesel carrying 2.8 litres and putting out around 200 bhp is your first option with a 3.6 petrol also up for grabs. Changes made to the body work of the Wrangler X include a newly designed front grille,eighteen inch Black wheels and a removable hard top roof is also available but only as an optional extra. Jeep now offer the Wrangler X series in four options, White,Red,Black and Yellow. It also receive some generous equipment like a 6.5 inch sat nav system,a DVD player,a leather steering wheel and an automatic climate control system. The new Wrangler X is on sale now.
Toyota tease a new Avalon model
Next week is the arrival of the Chicago Motor Show and one manufacturer that will be on hand at the event is Toyota. We already know that the company are to display their new special edition Corolla and Camry models from the event but now they have also teased another reveal for the big event coming in the form of the new Avalon. Toyota have not officially announced anything specification wise but from the image teased,a newly styled front grille and LED lighting are all included. Engines have not been revealed as of yet but the belief is that the current range of Avalon engines will be carried over to the new model meaning both a 2.5 and a 3.5 litre engine setup.
