Honda have revealed some brand new images of their Africa Twin model to add to the excitement behind the bike. The new touring style model is one that is now much anticipated by Honda motorcycle fans all around the world and fans got even more excited when the news was revealed that it will make its way to the market later this year. Off roading ability will be a strong focus for Honda with the CRF1000L Africa Twin version with mounted front brake callipers also being brought into the fold to make the adventure bike even more adventurous. Images revealed the bike with a view of the front of the machine with a large screen and silver paint work which also included the front forks. We will learn more about the new CRF1000L version closer to its time of launch later this year.
Granted Hyosung are not a motorcycle manufacturer massively known in the United Kingdom or even a front runner when it comes to bike sales. They have however time and time again shown that they know what it takes to get the job done when it comes to designing a motorbike and models such as the GV650 and the GT250 have proven this. However we now know that the brand based in Korea are planning for the launch next year of three new sports bikes on the road and our first view of these new models is expected to come from the Milan Motorcycle show this year. Speaking of the GT250, one of the new models is to be an R version of this bike which will be joined alongside by a GT 650R and a 400cc GD250R will also be in the line-up. Hyosung have remained silent on what we can expect from the new models but we do expect to hear a lot more in Milan Italy when the big motorcycle show takes place this year on the 19th of November.
The GSXR range, not much more can be said when it comes to excellence in a motorbike. Now Suzuki bring out the big guns by plans of launching a new 1000cc model which will go on sale from next year. For now, updates on the range are not being spoken of by the Japanese brand behind it but we do know that it will official replace the older 1000cc GSXR which has proven to be very successful. Design wise, we should expect the new model to carry over some detailing of the Moto GP bike with the metallic Blue paint scheme and the Suzuki logo spread across the fairing and back end of the machine, we would also expect that the usual suspects would appear in alternate options like the Black and traditional Blue and White. We can also expect to hear of some tweaking made to the bike which could potentially see strong updates when it comes to the braking system of the bike and some weight reduction materials which could see the bike hit out stronger than ever before. The new model is expected to be seen before the year is out which means that the Milan Motorcycle show in November could be a strong candidate, followed by a launch next year.
