In some car industry news today coming directly out of the Japanese car and motorbike firm known as Honda, we are excited to announce the latest breaking news coming out of the brand regarding an all new set of CR-V special edition models that are all due for a release potentially throughout the duration of this year. The Honda CRV has definitely proven to be a good seller for the brand along side other models such as the Civic, but with a vehicle that is already so perfectly rounded, what makes this addition to the range even better and, why should you choose to make the investment into one of these all new models over that of the original or, anything similar on offer from brands such as Vauxhall available today.
So what is it exactly that these all new special addition vehicles consist of and, what has been done and added to that of the original model to keep this addition to the Honda family fresh and updated ?. Well firstly the brand have announced directly that, the model will come in a choice of either black or silver and will both benefit from some minor tweaks and upgrades compared to that of the original model. In total there will be three engines on offer to the customer at the time of purchase but, two of these engines only come with the special limited versions. The two main sellers that we believe to be the big ones though come in the shape and form of,a 2.0 litre,i-VTEC engine that carry 153 units of bhp and there is also,a 2.2, I DTEC engine available too that carries 148 units of bhp. Both vehicles also come with the choice of either a, six speed, manual transmission system or a five speed, auutomatic gearbox is also on offer too.
In regards to some of the added pieces of kit and technology we see come complete with the car,in terms of the interior, not a lot has been added but we do know that these special edition Honda machines will come complete with, dual zone climate control, wireless Bluetooth connectivty and, front and rear parking sensors. In terms of equipment more visible we see the inclusion's of,19 inch alloy wheels,an all new, revamped grille and front and rear skid plates. With these perfect advances in technology and family sized seating we believe that this model can be a potential rival for other top brand's such as the likes of, Land Rover,Volkswagen and, BMW.
In regards to when we can expect to see this all new CR-V set of editions hit our roads here in the UK, sadly nothing has been confirmed as of yet from the brand directly however, we do expect that these models will reach dealership's before the end of this year. In regards to how much the Honda CR-V special editions will set you back, this remains unconfirmed also but we do expect that the Honda CR-V special editions may be addressed at this years Geneva motor show.
