Toyota tease the new Tacoma for 2016 once again

The Tacoma is a truck designed by Toyota which has been teased on a number of separate occasions this year by the firm. Just yesterday the company have released another teaser picture of the truck which shows off the Tacoma's front end styling for the first time. Slimmed down LED headlights are one of the most clear specs noticed on the picture with not a lot more being revealed as of yet. A chrome surrounded front grille with the Toyota badge located in the middle and a set of front fog lights can also be seen. Therefore it looks to be that the Japanese firm are taking the Tacoma in a completely new direction compared to previous models which have been on sale for the past nineteen years majorly in the United States. We will see the first reveal of the car in its full style on January the 12th in Detroit.

Renault working on new engine technology

French company Renault have recently been taking a page out of the Volvo brands book by beginning development on a brand new engine unit. Volvo have been in the news for their work on their new Drive E engine range as of late and now Renault look to strike back with some developments of their own. The new unit is designed to be much more lightweight than any other engine that the firm currently have on offer and will form a two cylinder diesel. Renault have only confirmed the development of this new engine but not anything regarding the vehicles performance rates. This is not the first in new technology developments for the French company though as they have also recently designed a brand new electric motor for use in hybrid vehicles alongside a new petrol engine which comes fully turbocharged. These are definitely exciting times for the car industry in general but will these new range of engines arrive in new Renault motors anytime soon?.
