Exciting Times for Alfa Romeo!

The All New Alfa Romeo 4C

The Alfa Romeo first made its debut back in the 2011 Geneva Motor Show as it looked to drum up interest in the small and agile vehicle. The model did receive a lot of interest and just two years later the production version of the car will be making an appearance at the Geneva Motor Show.

Fiat, the owners of the Alfa Romeo outfit has announced big plans for the brand in the near future. Fiat suffered a diabolical year of sales last year as the market struggled in the current state of the European Economy and are looking to Alfa Romeo to claw back the finance they may have lost in the investment of last year.

Fiat have announced the return of the Alfa Romeo brand to the US market in the near future as they look to take advantage of the current market share they are enjoying in terms of the number of dealerships they have across the country. The Italian company have considered widening the current range at Fiat, but instead decided to add the Alfa Romeo models into the mix as they believe that is the best option for the company at this moment in time.

The deal that has recently been completed for the Japanese company Mazda to build the new Alfa Romeo Roadster in the near future. The agreement will clearly state that the two companies will build completely different roadsters with the same build underneath the exterior.

A similar move was made between Toyota and the two French brands Peugeot and Citroen as they all created different exterior models with the same engine and other formalities earlier in the decade.

Mazda approved the deal due to the current lack of production opportunities it has compared to the capabilities of the factories. It is exciting times for the Alfa Romeo unit as it looks to achieve the success it once had before.
