Europe car sales rise-Honda to replace CEO-Fiat 500 finance offers

Last year ended with a bang and that was clearly demonstrated by the increase of new car sales on a year on year basis. We are delighted today to have even more information regarding the first month of this year. An official statement revealed shows that the number of new car sales in Europe has once again climbed compared to January of 2014. The figure shows that a 6.4 percent rise has been made compared to the previous year with countries such as Germany,Spain,France and right here in the United Kingdom reporting some of these big sales. In terms of the amount of sales, we see that Volkswagen were once again the number one selling brand closely followed behind by Ford and Renault. The biggest selling Volkswagen model of the list was the Golf followed by the Polo. Unsurprisingly Ford's big seller came to us in the form of the Fiesta. It has been stated that for the month of January in Europe alone, over one million new car sales were recorded. A great start to the 2015 automotive year.

Honda replaces CEO

Honda are known for being one of the worlds biggest manufactures of both cars and motorcycles. We have seen them have hit after hit with bikes such as the CBR600RR and the Civic Type R. There has always been a big driving force behind the company though who was the CEO of the brand, Takanobu Ito. Notice the term 'was'. The Honda CEO has announced that from June of this year, he is going to step down from his duties and it has been revealed that he will be replaced by Takahiro Hachigo. There is no doubt that the company will be in very safe hands with Hachigo as he has worked for the Honda corporation since 1982. He is very familiar with the goings on within Honda and knows what it takes to make good sellers when it comes down to both the car and motorbike market. The good news however is that Takanobu Ito will not be leaving the company as he has revealed his plans to remain working for Honda as a director of the company. We look forward to seeing in which way the Honda brand will be taken from June of this year.

Fiat 500 finance offers aplenty

Fiat have announced that they have added more finances to their iconic and popular 500 range. These brand new deals have been confirmed to be taking place until the end of March and are on offer right now. The Italian's have stated that a three year agreement can now be seen which sees a deposit of £1,249 put down followed by £129 each month. At the end of the agreement an optional purchase fee of £4,504 will be offered to the customer which will see them keep possession of the car which would be a 1.2 litre pop model. Customers can also take up Fiat on a new finance offer with the 1.2 Lounge trim level. This works out at £159 per month with a deposit of £1,525 with an optional payment price at the end of the agreement of £4,807. These are certainly some great finance offerings from the Italian firm and if you're looking for a smooth running city car then the 500 could be the ideal choice for you.
