Ducati start late testing for the Moto GP

Ducati are to start their official testing for this years round of the Moto GP world championship a little late. The brand who have not been doing so well recently in the season have been hard at work developing new technology for their bikes and have announced that they will start official pre season testing at Sepang this coming February. Other teams like Yamaha and Honda began their tests last Summer after the finish of Moto GP 2014 but does this wait give Ducati a better chance this season or a worse start to the championship?. Well Paolo Ciabatti who is the chief of Ducati thinks it will give them an advantage. He had this to say on the late testing of a new bike. “We admitted that its going to be seen only at Sepang, but we preferred to maybe start a little bit late instead of rushing the debut of a new bike and then having to fix several things”. “It looks like we are putting things in the right direction, and we are very confident of being able to challenge for race wins next year”.
