It was only a number of days ago that British luxury car designer Bentley officially revealed their brand new concept model the Grand Convertible. Yesterday just mere days later the LA motor show press day, the brand officially confirmed that this concept model will indeed make it into production. A lot of concept models are being displayed this week such as the LFC2 from Lexus and the A9 from Audi but none of which have been confirmed for production. Bentley are the only brand to announce production of one of their recently revealed concept vehicles and the sheer beauty and luxurious designs of the vehicle could see it come out of LA this week as the king of the crop. Along with announcing this news, the luxury car firm also confirmed a range of specifications to come along with the vehicle including what power source will deliver an unforgettable experience for any owner of this car.
A look into what was announced for the Bentley Grand Convertible
Bentley are notorious for offering truly powerful vehicles and that is exactly where this trend will continue with the Grand Convertible. The firm have confirmed that this car will receive the standard fitting of a 6.75 litre,V8 engine which will see 530 units of brake horse power delivered and a truly amazing 1000NM of torque developed. The paint scheme of the vehicle comes in Sequin Blue which is ideally a Metallic Blue scheme. A silver 'liquid metal' colour has also been used for the bonnet of the vehicle.
The interior of the vehicle with this being a Bentley model is just as comforting as you would expect. We see that White leather upholstery has been included with stitching for the seating area coming in exactly the same Blue scheme as the bodywork.
High interest for the Bentley Grand Convertible
Within just hours of the Grand Convertible being revealed, the interest in the car was said to be extremely high which is when the brand made the decision to have this car go into production. It has been stated that the brand are now looking at ways in which the vehicle can be put into production. A price tag just over the £250,000 area can also be expected to be revealed for the car in the future with more news regarding a release time for the vehicle still unconfirmed.
