Bentley and Aston Martin make changes to staffing-Parking fees see a rise

Statistics for England have recently been revealed which show the amount of income brought in from both parking fees and parking tickets has hit the £667 million area in the United Kingdom. This means a twelve percent increase on that of the previous revenue from last year. The income has been taken from the 2013/2014 year with the 2012/2013 year showing funds of £594 million. In a very telling statistic though, it has been reported that forty four percent of this revenue has come from Boroughs inside of the city of London alone. This is a huge figure which has been determined due to the cost of parking fines and fees taken into consideration. The figures have been revealed by the RAC who have also commented saying “Parking profits seem to be a one way street for councils having risen annually for the last five years. Yet over the same period spending on local roads has fallen about a fifth in real terms”.
