The brand new Hyundai i20

At the Paris motor show this year, we were introduced for the first time ever to the brand new Hyundai i20 model. The car itself is looking much more spacious than ever before and and has received some brand new changes made to the interior and exterior of the car including both a brand new petrol and diesel engine line up to come along with the car. The i20 is now looking to take its place in the line up of great city cars on the market by focusing on other vehicle additions such as Fords big selling Fiesta model amongst many more. So what brand new parts and accessories have found their way into this brand new i20 model and why should you decide to spend your money on this brand new addition from the Korean manufacturer?.

The brand new features and components that could make the i20 something special

So first and foremost we are going to start out with a look into the power and performance rates that can be produced by this vehicle. So regarding you choice of engine units at the time of launch, in Paris the firm confirmed that we will be treated to both diesel and petrol options as far as the engine range is concerned. Petrol wise we see that the firm have included the option of the entry level 1.25 litre unit which is available in two different power outputs which include either 74 or 83 brake horse power developments. A 1.4 delivering 99 brake horse power is also on offer. If a diesel engine is more your kind of thing, we see the addition of a 1.1 litre 74 brake horse power delivering engine. A 1.4 unit is also available with 89bhp. A five speed manual transmission system is on offer with the petrol line up as standard but if you opt for the diesel selections six speed gearboxes are the standard. The model is set as a five door hatchback variant but the firm have officially confirmed that after after launch, a three door coupe model will also go on sale.

If you're looking more into the technology and interior of the car before making a decision, you can find a sat nav system,a seven inch infotainment setup,USB and Bluetooth connectivity. A black interior of the car with brown inserts around the dashboard and doors are also very eye catching. Could this be the ideal response from Hyundai for the Volkswagen Polo and other similar models available today, we think it certainly has the potential to be yes.

Pricing and a future release for the new Hyundai i20

This brand new i20 model from Hyundai will reach the road from early on into next year. The brand are yet to reveal a price tag to come along with the vehicle but we do believe that prices wont run too far from current i20 models which begin at a figure of £10,995.
