The German car brand known as Porsche have been responsible for some of the best high powered sports machines on the market right now and also family vehicles such as the Cayenne. Over the years they have seen much success due to some of these big selling models like the Carrera and the Boxster which are household names. The Panamera model though is another key ingredient to the success achieved from the mass manufacturer, which is where today's news regarding the launch of the all new Panamera Turbo S comes in to play. This vehicle has recently gone on sale across various countries world wide including here in Europe. The model retails for an extra cost on top of the standard pricing but with this being a turbo model, it also benefits from some added bonuses when it comes down to the engine and some of it's performance rates on the road.
The main focus of this all new variant to the franchise is of course it's engine and capabilities so without further or do, lets take a look into them. We see the use of a 4.8 litre,V Twin V8 engine make the cut with the Turbo S which produces an output of 562 brake horse power with top speeds being achieved all round of 192 miles per hour. This is of course helped along by the 3.8 seconds sprint time it takes the Turbo S to reach 62 miles per hour from a standstill. An eight speed, automatic transmission system also comes along with this model which is only made available as a front wheel drive variant.
Some new pieces of standard kit also come along with this particular addition to the range and we see these come in the form of ceramic brakes,a Bose stereo,an all new sports exhaust system and brand new heated and powered front seating.
With that in mind we see this particular model as some top contending rival competition for the likes of Audi and Mercedes also.
The official price margin that comes along with this brand new addition to the Porsche line up rolls in at a cost of £131,136 and this model can be driven away from select dealers today.
