In some French car manufacturers news today heading directly out of the Peugeot camp, we are pleased to report on the latest regarding the brands all new 108 model which, will officially go on sale here in the UK and across other various parts of the world throughout July of this year. The vehicle itself is all set to be fully revealed next month at the Geneva motor show where the general public and media alike will get their first ever look at the model itself. In some good news though, the brand owners have recently come out and announced some of the all new features of the vehicle that will be finding their way into the 108 and could prove to be a top contending rival for similar vehicles from rival brands such as,Honda and Volkswagen.
So with that being said, what changes come into play with this all new Peugeot addition and what is it about the vehicle that we think makes it stand out and could be a potential game changer in the future of both our new and used car industry. Well firstly it has been stated that at the time of launch for this car, three separate engines will be on offer, which come in the shape and form of,a 1.0 litre, engine that in total carries 67bhp.But we believe that the main selling point could potentially be the,1.2 litre engine that that will carry 81 units of brake horse power in total. With this being said, the lower spec model does come with a choice of an optional extra which comes in the form of, a five speed, semi automatic gearbox. All engines currently consist of petrol, but no diesel engines are currently planned at this time.
In regards to what we believe could potentially be some of the more key components and selling points to go into this vehicle during its time on the production line, we see these come complete with the car as,LED strip headlights,an all new revamped grille and, a retractable fabric roof also comes as part of the package too.
Sadly nothing has been announced as of yet regarding an official launch date on this brand new vehicle but, we can confirm that the model will go on display in two weeks time at the Geneva motor show with an expected July launch date here in the UK and across other parts of the world too. In regards to a cost for your brand new Peugeot 108 this remains a secret still but again expect to hear more within the next two weeks.
