In some news today coming directly out of the British car manufacturers known as Mini, we are excited to report that we are currently only, two months away from the official launch of the all new Mini Cooper model that could be set to be one of the biggest selling vehicles in the companies history, if the hype and anticipation is anything to go by. Over the years we think it is safe to say that these vehicles are not so 'Mini' anymore but the brand have really established themselves with some of these vehicles such as,the Cooper and the One, and have even proven to be top contending rivals for the likes of Ford and Peugeot with their smaller models.
Although Mini models are getting larger as the years go by, it could potentially grow as big to rival the likes of other companies such as, Volvo and Audi amongst others. But what has gone into the manufacturing process of the latest Cooper to make it stand out above the rest ?.
What's included with the all new Mini Cooper ?
In terms of what has been announced so far regarding the production time on this vehicle it has been confirmed by the brand owners that this addition to the ever growing line up will complete a combination of both, power and gadgets, and the brand have not disappointed. We see this by the inclusions of, 1.5 litre, three cylinder turbo engine that in total will carry,136 units of brake horse power, therefore making the sprint from 0 to 62 miles per hour in a time of just,7.9 seconds.
With all of this being said, it has been confirmed by Mini that the car will hit top speeds of, 130 miles per hour. The vehicle comes complete in a, front wheel drive format, and also comes pre fitted with a, six speed manual transmission system put into place.
In regards to some of the added pieces of kit and technology, we see these all come in the shape and form of, wireless Bluetooth connectivity, isofix seating, climate control and folding rear seats. Some of the main key components of this vehicle though that could prove to be the big selling points in our opinion come as the, all newly revamped alloy wheels,a stop start system all put in place and keyless go for the vehicle itself. Therefore proving this Cooper from BMW owned company Mini to be a great contending rival for the top spots.
How much will the new Mini Cooper set you back ?
In regards to a price tag that will come along with this welcomed addition to the Mini range, we see this model will be available in your nearest selected dealership throughout March of this year and, you can expect to pay the cost of £15,300 for your all new Mini Cooper for 2014.
