With the news of sudden temperature drops here in Europe, and a long winter season ahead for all of us, weather conditions have been destroying property, power outages occurring,injuries and fatalities have even occurred across certain parts of the United Kingdom, as result of these hazardous condition's and sudden increased wind speeds.
Some speeds have been reported at coming in at a whopping force of 142 miles per hour causing absolute carnage and devastation. At least four were reported injured this morning, and one fatality was reported aswell, such sad news but especially more so with the approach to the family time of christmas up and coming as well.
In recent light of these occupancies due to the weather, all five incident's that were reported this morning were said to of involved the use of a vehicle. Sadly the gentlemen who passed away, was in an incident where his lorry that he was driving was blown over on to it's side and sadly the gentleman driver was crushed in the incident.
The lorry also landed on top of two other vehicles nearby on the road, which caused four more incident's as well. Car and motorbike drivers have been advised to be extra careful when using their vehicles in these horrendous weather condition's. During the winter season more accident occur involving the use of a vehicle, than any other time of the year.
Therefore, generating more insurance claims and more cars and bikes written off than any other time of the year.
It was also reported directly from the met office a couple of weeks ago that, this years winter season could be set to last for a total of six months at a maximum. After the appalling weather that we have been getting here in the UK today and sub zero winter temperatures set to arise throughout most parts of Europe. We are advised to stay as safe as possible when it comes to all aspects of our daily lives. Motorbike and car drivers alike are also being told to keep safe and cautious during these hazardous weather condition's.
