Jaguar Land Rover announce new technological developments

Jaguar Land Rover have been one of the most pioneering brands of late as they look to ditch standard metal for the much more lighter and durable metal in the form of alluminium.

The Jaguar Land Rover have also enjoyed a certain amount of success with the Range Rover brand and have focused their attentions on emerging markets such as the Chinese or US market. Range Rover have therefore accounted for over 30% of the whole Jaguar Land Rover sales figures and have done so with the Evoque model alone.

More recently the brand has been paying attention to a new Range Rover Hybrid model which will make its public debut at near by Frankfurt Motor Show. The Frankfurt Motor Show currently looks an exciting prospect as the worlds biggest manufacturers look to show off what they think and hope will be the worlds next big thing.

The Jaguar Land Rover company have been focusing on a number of technological and drive developments, such as the Hybrid model for example. But, as well as the new Range Rover Hybrid, the firm are set to announce research plans that may cost up to £4 million into a new powertrain and hybrid technology.

The project will be called the Evoque_ E project which will basically research and test different technology platforms which are capable of being transferred to existing Jaguar and Land Rover models.

As stated earlier, the success of the Range Rover Evoque has been outstanding and something that the brand may have not seen coming. The demand in the Chinese market is something to be proud of, as the subsequently British firm look to develop a higher number of dealership networks within certain markets.
