New Mini Cooper?

An All New Mini

A number of leaked images have been posted online of an all new Mini. The images online seem to show a Mini model with what seems to be little or no changes. However, it is thought that the new Mini model is based on the Rocketman concept revealed way back in 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show.

The new car appears to have a larger front grille as well as having larger headlights and thick chrome trim around the edges. The bonnet on the model also looks to be a slightly more angled one to that of the last. The Mini range of models seems to be going in the opposite direction in terms of size lately and has edged towards the larger side rather than the smaller side which has been the case since BMW revived the brand.

It is thought that the new Mini model will be more voluminous and sculptured than all of the Cooper models previously. The sides of the Cooper model will be sculpted differently and specifically designed to accommodate the wheel arch. The current model has a smaller glazed area than on any other model as it looks to go down the narrow route.

The Mini Cooper model is famed for its film role in the Italian Job and for its British heritage. Mini along with the likes of Aston Martin hold a special place in the heart of the UK Car Industry. The Mini Cooper has become one of the most popular city cars in the past number of years with the release of a number of models such as the Mini Cooper S Cabriolet model.

The Convertible Mini Cooper S was the car to have not so long ago and a number of footballers including Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher have been seen driving around town in the prestigous model. The Mini Cooper model will continue to change and develop along with the new styling of models seen on the road today.
