The All New Seat Leon SC

The All New Seat Leon

We at GapInsurance123 have decided to take a look at the all new Seat Leon SC model which is due for release in July. The new revised and updated Seat Leon model will be a three door only model and will be a total of £300 cheaper than a five door model. The Seat model will go on sale in July for a price of £15,370.

Seat and the Volkswagen Group have announced that the New Leon model will have a lower roof line along with a steeper rear window. It has also been completely re-designed from the windscreen back as it looks to achieve a more glowing and controlled look about the car. There will be a total of 5 different engine options to choose from. The petrol options include a 1.2 litre option which will produce just 57.6 mpg as well as having 104 bhp, the next option would be a 1.4 litre engine and a 1.8 litre engine.

There are just Diesel engined options with the first being a 1.6 litre engine and the other being the 2.0 litre engine. The 1.6 Seat engine will have the ability to achieve 104 bhp and average 74.3 mpg. The 2.0 litre engine will average 68.9 mpg and is capable of 148bhp.

The Leon model is imperative to the success of the Seat range and has been labelled as the model that kick started the pinnacle of the company back in the early 00's. The Seat Leon model have always been good looking models and back when the Leon first came out, no one expected the model to drive and have the ability that it did due to its low invoice price.

As Seat are now part of the Volkswagen Group, the Leon model is grouped with the Volkswagen Golf and the Audi A3,therefore, the model will receive all updates and technology before the higher priced vehicles such as the A3 and the Golf will see such developments.
