Renault release prices for the Clio RS

Renault have released the prices for the brand new Clio RS and it costs £2,000 more than the Fiesta ST from Ford. The new vehicle from Renault, the Clio Renaultsport 200 turbo, has a starting price of £18,995 or for a better equipped Lux £19,995. That is £2,000 than the Ford Fiesta ST and £100 more than the Peugeot 208 GTi.

As was available before, buyers of the vehicle who would like a more focused driving experience can add the Cup Chassis for an extra £450. That will lower the ride by 3mm, stiffen the suspension of the car by 15% and also adds a quicker steering ratio. It will also include gloss black 18 inch alloy wheels with Dunlop Sport Maxx TT tyres and red brake calipers.

Standard equipment on this vehicle includes keyless start, a seven inch sat-nav built in, air conditioning, sports seats, bluetooth and cruise control. If you are going for the Lux model Renault will also throw in a higher specification Arkamys stereo, Tom Tom live navigation, an R-Link multimedia system and automatic lights and wipers. Options include 18 inch alloys for £185, heated front seats for £250, rear parking sensors for £315, metallic paint for £495 and dark carbon leather interior upholstery for £1,000.

Whichever model is decided on by the driver there's a 197 brake horsepower 1.6 litre turbocharged engine under the vehicle bonnet, which helps with the 0-62 miles per hour sprint, which can be achieved in 6.7 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds faster than the current outgoing model.
