The nations favorite "White Van Man " will soon have more to smile about with Ford announcing that the Transit will be priced from just £17495 & vat.
All this and ford promises market leading standards!
Van customers will be able to choose from the SWB ( Short wheel base ) model and still have a load capacity of 6 cubic meters with the LWB ( long wheel base ) increasing to 6.8 cubic meters.
Ford UK said that when it came to the design of the new Transit Custom their main priority was to be able to offer the biggest loading space with extra attention on the bulkhead to maximize loading capacity.
The new Custom will have a hatch in the bulkhead which will be able to take loads up to 3 meters in height.
So will " Mr White Van Man " be tempted into the new Ford model well only time will tell.
