Fiat Plan for Alfa Success

It has been a struggling time for Fiat in the last 12 months due to the current economic climate in Europe. However, Fiat have looked at the Alfa Romeo brand as way of filling show rooms with a new range of models and have based the Alfa Romeo brand on achieving a profit in the next 12 months.

Fiat have their largest dealership ratio in the growing economy of the US and have looked at improving the size of the current Fiat range to boost revenue and income. The Alfa Romeo brand looks to be the key to this success in the US as the Alfa brand was once at its peak with sales in the US.

As Fiat look at ways of increasing the range of models and dealership popularity to in turn make a profit out of the year, the Fiat Panda looks to growing as ever in the European market. Fiat currently have factories that are not reaching maximum capabilities and have also looked at reducing staffing and production costs in order to develop both income and revenue for the company. The car manufacturer as a business last year made a loss after reaching a 29 year low in the home country of Italy for sales. This 29 year low effected the Fiat brand personally and was due to the current economic crisis that has plagued the European car market.

Peugeot Citroen have also gone down the same route after announcing a loss for the year of 2012 and have announced new models and new ranges in order to develop the income and revenue coming into the business. In contrast to Fiat, Peugeot Citroen have had a cash injection from the French Government as they had the intention to close one of the major manufacturing plants in France.

The Alfa Romeo brand has a promising future as they have recently announced a selection of new models and ranges. Fiat have announced the build of the new Alfa Romeo 4C along with the new Alfa Romeo Roadster. The Alfa Romeo Roadster will be conjointly built with the Japanese brand Mazda which look to cut costs while increasing revenue which is a very important factor as the brand looks to claw back the loss it received last time out.
