The Kia Sorento new model is up by £1,500, which makes it a little more expensive than the CR-V from Honda, though the differences in styling and cabin is a great improvement from the previous model and is extremely well equipped.

The MK7 Volkswagen Golf will be available this month with a range of engines and choice of trim level.

The Hyundai i30 has been available for over a year though the more sporty 3 door model has only been unleashed recently. All models will still benefit from the 5 year warranty promised by the company and this model has the same range of engines as the 5 door.

The SEAT Ibiza Cupra is the latest in the Ibiza range where it will be sitting at the top when it is made available at the end of January, this model can do 0-62 in 6.9 seconds and it's starting price is £18,825 and is said to pack 178 brake horsepower.

The Peugeot RCZ gets LED daytime lights and a brand new grille, though the engine line up hasn't appeared to have changed, meaning it is available with the choice of 2 petrol engines and 1 diesel.

The MINI JCW GP, the quickest MINI production of alltime goes on sale at the end of January, although numbers are limited as there are just 2,000 of the 2 seater hatchback models looking for a home across the world. The model is said to be capable of 0-62 in 6.3 seconds.

The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, this model gets a 550 brake horsepower from the 4.8 litre engine and can get from 0-62 in just 4.5 seconds, it can also go on to top speeds of 176 miles per hour.
