Sales statistics for both motorcycle and scooter sales here in the United Kingdom for the month of May have been revealed and it is some good news for motorcycle manufacturers. It has been revealed that 11,638 models were sold throughout the month which equals to an 11.3 percent rise in new bike and scooter sales when based on a year on year basis compared to last May. The most popular selling motorcycles in the line up were also revealed to be the BMW R1200GS in second place just being beaten to the number one top spot by the popular MT-09 model from Yamaha. Great news for motorcycle manufacturers from a range of countries world wide and we hope that this trend in sales continues going forward throughout the rest of the year. Join us next month as we will have the sales statistics for this month.

The Honda RC213V-S to be revealed tomorrow

Honda are set to reveal their brand new RC213V-S model this week and we are very excited to reveal that the motorcycles grand unveiling will take place from Catalunya Spain tomorrow. We have spoken in the past of the new RC213V-S which is said to be the closest road going experience to that of the Moto GP motorcycles and it is expected to come in with a price tag of around the £115,000 and we are expecting an exact confirmation of the price tag to be revealed tomorrow along with the bikes grand reveal. The new bike is to be produced in very limited numbers but this does not come as a surprise considering the price tag that will come along with it. As soon as the RC213V-S goes on display tomorrow, we will bring you all of the latest.
