The relationship between GapInsurance123 and other Aequitas Automotive brands

Our brand, GapInsurance123, is owned and operated in the UK by Aequitas Automotive Ltd. Aequitas Automotive was founded in 2010 as a specialist insurance broker, primarily aimed at the 'direct to consumer' GAP Insurance market for UK car buyers. Additional products likes Tyre, Alloy Wheel, Minor Bodywork Damage, Motor Excess and Roadside Assistance Insurance have been added also.  Aequitas automotive brands GapInsurance123 EasyGap Shortfall Totallossgap

Aequitas Automotive Ltd are different to many other brokers in this field as they run a number of brands/websites offering these types of products. These websites include

TotalLossGap.co.uk

EasyGap.co.uk

Shortfall.co.uk

GapInsurance123.co.uk

TyreInsurance123.co.uk

It is natural that you may ask if other competitors run only one website why does Aequitas Automotive Ltd run a number?

The answer is that it gives us options, flexibility and the ability to compare products with you under one roof, as it were. We use a number of underwriters for the products we provide, not just one like many of our competitors. The underwriters may offer slightly different terms and features, certainly different premium rates and this means we have a better chance to find the very best cover at the best price between our insurers. Brokers/websites who only use one insurer cannot do this obviously.

So let's say you have a BMW M3 then we know our current insurers on Shortfall and GapInsurance123 would exclude this vehicle from cover. However, our underwriters at Total Loss Gap may be able to assist.

If you had a vehicle you use for private hire then Total Loss Gap, Shortfall and GapInsurance123 would not be able to help, but our current insurer on EasyGap does quote for such use.

We feel it is to our advantage, and yours, that we structure our business in this way. By avoiding a scenario of 'all eggs in one basket' we have a better chance to provide you with more choice and cover for even the most unusual of requests.
