The Alfa Romeo Giulia undergoes testing

The brand new vehicle addition of the Giulia from Alfa Romeo has been spotted undergoing its first set of tests ahead of a planned launch next year. Images have recently been revealed showing the vehicle in all its glory. The vehicle has the sort of looks you would expect from an Alfa model meaning it has a sporty design to it and could potentially prove to be a key source of competition for other manufacturers such as German brand BMW with their 3 series line up. It is expected that a range of engine and performance rates will vary for the car when it officially goes on sale and it will be the first vehicle to introduce new technology and features into the model that is expected to be included in a further seven cars released over the next few years by the mass manufacturer.

What we know about the Alfa Romeo Giulia so far

Alfa are playing their cards close to their chest as far as the Giulia is concerned at this moment in time. Engine ranges and power deliverance have been confirmed however and we see these come in the manner of a range of four cylinder engines which will develop between 105 and 190 brake horse power respectively. A more high power version of the four cylinder could be put on sale to which would see an increase up to 320bhp in regards to power. It has also been confirmed that a more high end version of the car will also go on sale and it is being marketed under the name of the Giulia Cloverleaf. Power ranges for this variant of the car will come between 400 and 500 brake horse power. All versions of the car will come with a rear wheel drive platform although it has been stated that an all wheel drive system will come along with the new addition as an optional extra. An estate version of the car is also expected to be launched sometime in the future which could very well bring with it the potential to go up against other vehicle additions such as the Mercedes C63 AMG model.

When will we see the Alfa Romeo Giulia arrive ?

The vehicle itself is all set to go on sale here in the United Kingdom and across other various countries world wide from the second half of next year with the Estate version of the car to follow. As far as a price tag to come along with the model is concerned, nothing has been announced by the manufacturer behind the vehicle as of yet, but we expect to hear more on the situation closer to the official time of launch.
