In some exciting news today making its way out of the French owned car manufacturing firm known as Citroen, we are excited to report on one of the cars that the company is all set to reveal later this week at the Bejing motor show and, comes your way in the form of the all new DS5 LSR model. Before we get into this, the model is all set for a release on Chinese markets with a UK future somewhat uncertain at this moment in time. Over the years Citroen have become a well established brand and have designed some truly good sellers that continue to succeed today in both the new and used car markets. Some of these models include the likes of, the C4 and the Saxo. What is so special about this all new DS5 model though that makes it stand out amongst it's predecessors and why should you choose to make the investment into one ?.
So with that being said, what is it that has gone into this particular model during production time to truly make it something special and, why should you choose to make the investment into this brand new model over anything similar available on the market from rival brands such as the likes of,Ford or Vauxhall ?. Well firstly in regards to the engine and power, we see the inclusion of a 1.6 litre, turbo charged petrol engine that is rumored to put out around 300 brake horse power overall. The model comes as a saloon style vehicle that could potentially be a good rival for Audi with the S3 Saloon model. Power is asserted to the front wheels and the suspension system has been confirmed to be lowered by 15mm too.
Sadly as we said, there are no plans as of yet for an official launch for this Citroen model here in the UK. The vehicle will be launched in China before the end of the year. In regards to a price tag that will join the DS5 LSR, expect to hear more on this matter this week when the car
receives an official reveal at the Bejing motor show.
