Many UK fans angry over Moto Gp motorbike 2014 season

In a news story regarding the Moto GP motorbike world championship now, many fans here in the UK have been left angry and without their fix of the GP next season that is unless you have a BT sports package. The reason behind the anger is that the big sport league that is famous for their high speed racing on machines from brand's such as Honda,Suzuki,Yamaha,Ducati and BMW amongst many more, have come to an end on their contract with BBC television as of the end of this year, and will be moving permanently to the sports channel that is subscription based..

The motorbike's history with BBC sport

The BBC who have held the rights for the Moto GP world championship since 2003, could not come to an agreement on a new fixed based contract with the brand, and have therefore had to let them go, the anger and disappoint of many fans throughout the United Kingdom. After ten years in partnership together now, the racing teams and suppliers will now head for subscription based screening on our television's.

Although the contract has ended with the popular channel service, its not just them affected by the move, as popular channel for the racing bikes Eurosport no longer has rights to taped races and must show them live or not at all. This indeed will annoy many fans with everything that has gone on in last years season, and the news that has been circulating as of late regarding Yamaha racer Valentino Rossi possibly retiring from the sport if he does not do well within the first six races of next season.

As some motorbike history ends, more is made

With ten years of partnership coming to an end between the two big time brands history is indeed ending. But the new good news coming out of the Aprillia racing team in the leagues is that the young Irish born racer Michael Laverty who did not do so well last year, has signed on to do another year in the big time sport to try his luck just one more time. But about the sad news, for more fixes from the motorbike racing leagues, it is going to cost a little more from the 2014 season onwards.
