The success of Dacia across Europe has led to the entry of the UK for the Renault branded budget manufacturer. The Dacia Sandero model in particular has been the success in markets such as Germany, as the European economy looks to be in a difficult state and the European motorists search for a bragain.

The Dacia Sandero model is the cheapest model available in the UK and only costs £5,995. The model may well be cheap but only because they have left out a certain number of features that are not essential and the production costs are therefore a considerable amount cheaper.
The £5,995 Dacia Sandero has been criticised for the lack of technology within the dashboard amongst other things. However, in order for Dacia to cut the costs they decided to not fit the speakers or even a radio in the Sandero and instead left the fixtures and fittings in place for the motorist to decide whether they would like a sound system or not.
The model prides itself on its simplicity and that is exactly what it is, it is a simple car offering the ability of purchasing a simple car to do a simple thing in the way of transport. The Dacia brand also believe that by making more affordable new cars may reignite the interest from younger motorists in the way of purchasing a new car.
